Student Eligibility:
Only domestic undergraduate students who are returning to TMU for full-time studies in the upcoming Fall 2024/Winter 2025 terms and have received approval for this period from Career Boost (directly through Student Financial Assistance) can be hired under this program..
Eligible: Full-time, domestic, TMU undergraduate students can apply to job postings, but Career Boost approval is required to be eligible for hire.
Students must apply for Fall/Winter Career Boost approval between Thursday, August 22, 2024 and Friday, January 24, 2025.
Ineligible: International students, graduate students and Faculty of Law students are not eligible to be hired under this program.
Students may refer to the SFA website for full details and email jobs@torontomu.ca with any questions. Please note that the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation (OVPRI) is not involved in the approval process.
Students can only hold ONE WSRA or Career Boost position per term.
Employment Period
Fall 2024: September 9, 2024 – December 13, 2024.
Winter 2025: January 6, 2025 – April 4, 2025.
Number of Hours: 98 Hours per term, up to 196 hours in total. No more than 15 hours per week. No overtime is permitted.
Number of Weeks: 27 weeks in total.
Hourly Wage: Up to $21.11/hour.
